Improvements include redundant UPS systems at levels of five to ten times that of a standard building.  The electrical power supply is supported by redundant (N+1) battery and generator backup systems that will keep the entire facility operational should the plain system fail.

SJCC has built both shells and interiors for datacom clients that feature significant structural upgrades to levels of 125% of seismic code requirements.  The structures have also been significantly enhanced for equipment loads of up to 750lbs/s.f. at the slabs on deck, under-grid hung structures, and isolated pad thicknesses for both interior and exterior equipment loads.
